This webpage is an ongoing project. The reason why the page exist, is
as follows; over the years I've taken quite a few photos and I thought
"why not share some of the pictures with you?". So I entered the great
www in search for an automated site builder (because back then I didn't
know anything at all about HTML-coding). I soon got frustrated, because
they all either came with features I didn't want, or features I wanted
was missing. So, after a few months with my page created with such an
site builder, I decided to build a new webpage, on my own, from
scratch learning whatever I had to learn about XHTML, Doctypes and CSS!
And, here it is! My very own creation from start
to end! Hope you'll enjoy it!

Most of the pictures (in Gallery 1) are taken with Canon cameras
(EOS 300, Powershot G2, EOS 300D or EOS 40D), but the oldest pictures are taken
with my first SLR camera, a Practica MTL 5. All the pictures are
substantially reduced in size in order to be displayed at this site.
The order of the pictures displayed are totally random, and the number and
composition of pictures are likely to change at any update of this site.
A little bit about me-
I was born in a town called
Aalesund on the
west coast of Norway in September 1967. When I was 7 years
old, me and my family moved north to a small village called Sovik
where I grew up along with my little brother and sister.
I now work as an constructional engineer, but
over the years I've had several different job
occupations. I've worked as an steel worker
on a ship building yard, I've worked as an
fisher man on several different fishing vessels,
and I've served one year in the Norwegian army.
My interests-
Some of my interests are; photo/video,
music, astronomy and
hang gliding; I really like to take pictures of just about anything, exploring
the different settings on my camera. I also enjoy shooting video and edit the
footage on a PC. I "always" listen to music, mostly on the radio, but I also
listen to CD's or watch concerts on DVD. A few years ago I took a course and
got my hang gliding licence. But after a short period I had to quit. I didn't
have the spare time needed to put in the effort to maintain the level of
flights required to hold the licence. Too bad, cause I really liked it, and I
hope some day I'll get the chance to fly again!
